Ivanka Trump, has announced her engagement on Twitter. She said “I got engaged last night and last day was truly the happiest day of my life!!!” Her fiancé is New York Observer owner Jared Kushner.
Ivanka is now studying Judaism under Rabbi Haskel Lookstein at the Kehilath Jeshurun Modern Orthodox synagogue on the Upper East Side. Donald Trump has commented on the relationship, telling a US magazine: “I’m very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple.” Ivanka has said: “Jared and I are very similar in that we’re very ambitious. That’s what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that. I’m happy for him when he is in the office working late. I know how good that feels when you sit down and return e-mails.”
