Summer Nelson , Summer Kelli Ashle Nelson, a 28-year-old Idaho woman was arrested Monday after allegedly having a sexual affair with a 14-year-old boy she babysat for.
According to Post Falls police, Nelson was arrested after a 7-month long investigation that began after a complaint was filed in Dec. 2008.
Investigators say Nelson was hired to babysit for three children (ages 9, 12 and 14) in August 2007. In the intervening time, allegedly had sex with the 14-year-old boy on numerous occasions at the Post Falls home.
“Apparently, Summer had stated to others how she was in love with the 14-year-old boy and that she could not understand how it was wrong for the two of them to be together,” said police Lt. Pat Knight.
Nelson was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on four counts of lewd conduct with a minor. Her bail was set at $50,000.
